Leading change is a difficult but necessary task for any organization.

It requires a leader to be able to identify the need for change, develop a plan to implement it, and then motivate and inspire their team to make the change happen. It is a process that requires strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Join me and learn strategies to overcome these 3 challenges when leading change

Resistance to Change

People often resist change, especially if it disrupts their routine or threatens their sense of security. Leaders need to address this resistance and communicate the benefits of the change effectively to overcome it.

Communication breakdowns

Miscommunication can cause confusion, frustration, and even mistrust among employees. Leaders need to ensure that the right information is being communicated to the right people at the right time.

Lack of buy-in

Without buy-in from key stakeholders, a change initiative is unlikely to succeed. Leaders need to build a coalition of support and ensure that everyone understands their role in making the change a success.

Change isn't easy

While businesses are frequently undergoing big changes these days, about half of change initiatives fail, whereas only 34% report clear success. 16% of change initiatives report mixed results. (Gartner, 2020)

Meet Jill Windelspecht, Your Coach & Facilitator

I have spent over 25 years serving leaders so that great teams thrive. As a leadership coach and trainer with Prosci Change Management certification, I equip you with the tools and mindset needed to build your most effective, authentic leadership style. My clients describe me as passionate, practical and committed to their success. Hundreds of leaders have used the mindset, skillset and actionset approach to build the careers and teams they deserve. Leaders using all their intelligence create a coaching culture in organizations that drives employee engagement, high performance, and better business results.

My passion for leveraging neuroscience in coaching and training came from working with analytical thinkers and leaders in technical fields. Neuroscience shows that the "soft stuff" or "soft skills" have real data behind it that shows us logically how we are wired to think, feel and act – and most importantly, how we can leverage that data to help improve how we lead, communicate, make decisions and manage change!
